Privacy policy
This policy explains what OctaNeural collects when you use octaneural.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. OctaNeural is run by Hyfind LLC, 8 The Green, Suite R, Dover, DE 19901, USA ("we", "us").
What we collect
When you send us a form. The enquiry form, the product request forms and the book-a-call form ask for your name, your work email, your company if you give it, and what you write to us. We also record which product the form was about.
When you book a call. The calendar is provided by Calendly. When you pick a time, Calendly collects your name, email, the time you chose and anything you type in its form, and sends us the booking. Calendly's own privacy policy covers what it does with that information: calendly.com/privacy
Automatically, when you send a form. We record your browser type and a scrambled version of your IP address (a salted hash, which can't be turned back into the address). We use it to stop people sending too many forms, and keep it with your message. We never store your IP address itself with your message.
When you visit. Our web server keeps logs of requests, including IP addresses, so we can keep the site running and secure.
Cookies
The public site doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. If you open the booking calendar, Calendly loads its own scripts, which may set cookies. The admin area, which only our team uses, uses cookies to keep them signed in.
How we use it
- To reply to you, and to follow up on the problem you sent.
- To give you access to a product you asked for.
- To tell you when a product you asked about is released. For notify requests, that's one email and nothing else.
- To prepare for a call you booked.
- To protect our forms from spam and abuse.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site and stores form submissions, and sends us an email when a new one arrives. Your information is stored in the United States.
- Calendly runs the booking calendar.
- Our email provider carries the emails we exchange with you.
We share information beyond this only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to deal with your request and follow up. You can ask us to delete yours at any time. Rate-limit records are deleted automatically after about 20 minutes.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop emailing you. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. Email privacy@octaneural.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form data is stored in our own AWS account, and only our team can see it.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
